Travel Grants

Cardiovascular Innovations Foundation is pleased to offer travel grants to CVI 2024. Grants are limited. Priority will be given to Challenging Case Competition and Poster Abstract submitters. Grants are available in the following categories:

Fellows-in-training, medical students and residents
Early career physicians (less than 10 years in your career)
Cath-lab team members
Podiatrists

Applications for travel grants are now being accepted. Notification of status of application will be made by May 1st.

Bridge Scholarship

Cardiovascular Innovations Foundation supports the Care coordinator team. Selected applicants received funding to cover the costs of airfare, hotel, and CVI 2024 meeting registration.

Early Career Award

Cardiovascular Innovations Foundation supports those who have been in their career less than 10 years. Early career applicants are eligible for this award by submitting an innovative case or research abstract for consideration. Winners received funding to cover the costs of airfare, hotel, and CVI 2024 meeting registration.

Cardiovascular Innovations Foundation (CVIF) is pleased to offer the following funding to attend Cardiovascular Innovations (CVI) 2024 on July 18-20, 2024 (pre-conference Fellows Bootcamp on July 17, 2024):

Travel grants to CVI 2024 are limited and are available to both US- and International-based fellows-in-training, early career physicians, bridge scholarship applicants. Priority will be given to accepted Challenging Case contest and Poster Abstract submitters.
Bridge funding scholarships to supplement travel costs incurred by Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Care Coordinators to attend CVI 2024. Funds are limited and are intended to be used as a supplement to funds from the practitioner’s institution.

Expenses covered include billed coach-class air travel or mileage reimbursement, up to a total of $500 for domestic applicants (US) and $1,500 for international applicants, and 3 nights of lodging paid for by CVI. All fellow travel grant recipients will have their registration fees waived. Meals, alcohol and room incidentals are excluded. Flight reservations are to be made by the attendee. Original receipts are required for all reimbursement. Hotel check-in and departure dates will be based on the air travel itinerary provided by grant applicant. Hotel reservations will be made by CVIF.
