CVI19 Pre-Conference Innovation Summit: The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine
July 17, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is rising to be the most powerful technological revolution influencing many aspects of our current lives. A.I. has already found its way in our daily routines, consuming its output seamlessly as it learns from our digital print. This pre-conference innovation summit will discuss what it means to develop platforms and solutions using A.I. as a backbone.
Speakers will discuss the role of A.I. in cardiovascular medicine, or how it could be used as a tool to help manage patients or mine EMRs to deliver value-based healthcare. With A.I., there is a rise in data collection and interpretation, what should a physician review and what should he or she leave to the machine to interpret? Data overload is real and physician fatigue in data interpretation is significant. How could cardiovascular medicine transition?
Attend to learn from thought-leaders in this area, including our keynote, Stanton Rowe, who will share his experience, history, and perhaps agonizing pain points in creating the field of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement.
As with any new disruptive technology there are mountains to move, join us to be a part of the discussion!
